When I bought this 5 weeks ago, I did a big mistake. Not because it's a bad charging adapter, rather because I didn't read the description well. I had overconfidence and though that it would work nice since it had a USB power out connection. When I tried to charge my iPod Touch, it didn't work. Fortunately I had luck and found out that it could charge my mobile phone. So I didn't lose any money. I tried this out with one mp3-player and a portable charger. I works with many things and devices, but iPods and iPhones, absolutely not. 

The charger is really small and perfect for traveling. For those with kindles, mp3-players and other devices except Apple products, this could be a great option for your USB power adapter charging needs. 

The charger is extremely short, only 7 cm long! I took and measured and it was actually shorter then 7cm. I once had a USB charging adapter for my iPod Touch that was 11cm. Maybe it doesn't seem like such a big difference. But shortening a charger by 4cm is pretty much. 



The whole USB charger adapter has a nice black shining color, and it's very simply but smartly made! Elegantly shaped!



The USB connection is a bit worn, after some experimentation I did to it in the beginning. The USB connection is really the same as all the other USB charging adapters. I noticed that the USB entry is wide, so when you plug a USB cable into the connection it is barely noticed. 



Pros:

  • Ultra small and ultra short. It can fit almost anywhere and everywhere. You just have to remember to take i with you, and not forget where you place it.
  • It super simple to use, just plug in and connect. 
  • Nice shape of the USB charger adapter and very nice black shining color.
  • Very hard to get problems with this. There are no loose parts that might fall or be worn out and get broken. Even the top part of the charger is glued strongly together.
  • Extremely cheap, but still of good quality and practical use!


Cons

  • The USB connection is wide and when you try to connect a USB cable to the USB connection it's barely noticeable if it's connected! The same opposite problem is with the power plugs. They are too close to each other. So you almost want notice when it's inside the power outlet.
  • When it arrives at you, it isn't in any packaging. Just inside the shipping plastic bag.
  • I'm worried about how long the charger will function, and if it will last for a good while or if it's needed to buy more of these, every now and then.
  • Isn't compatible with Apple iDevices while it is an USB charger adapter.

It's an EU power plug connection. Works OK even though the two power pins are too close to each other. 


When an USB cable is connected then it looks like this. Still very small! If you can notice how the USB cable capsizes slightly, that's because of the wide USB connection opening.



Total Conclusion 

This USB charger adapter is super cheap, ultra thin, ultra small, and great for charging Mp3-players, kindles, portable chargers and other diverse devices like mobile phones. For those who need a practical, small and average USB charger adapter, but that is still cheap and easy to use, must definitely buy one of these. Even though you maybe do a big mistake and regret of buying this later, it's only $1.99, so the loss isn't that big.

Recommended for Mp3s, Kindles and mobile phones, but not for iPods, iPhones and iPads.

TheSnugg was very kind to send me the "Snugg 2 in 1 Silver Stylus and Writing Pen", just before Christmas eve arrived here in Norway. I have been used the stylus pen i many different ways so I could review the pen from different aspects. Some of the ways I used the pen, was to try combining the Pen and the iPod Touch to a drawing tablet. It works, but when trying to draw the small detailed parts of a drawing, then it can be inaccurate. I also tested out how sensitive the iPod Touch was when swiping the pen over the screen on the iPod - it's good but, a human finger is definitely better.

The stylus 2 in 1 pen has been made in a nice size and it's very compact while also keeping the two functions. The look of the pen is alright, but they could have done a better job with the look. Like changing the color of the text on the pen cap. That would have been a better contrast choice!





























The size of the pen is under the size of an average sized ballpoint pen. Maybe 2cm shorter, there is still no problem with that. As you also can see, a headphone jack attachment is available, so you can secure it and avoid of maybe losing it.
Here you easily see how badly it's noticeable.


The packaging is also very impressing just like the "Snugg 2Ah Portable Charger". Shiny, attractive and cool!
They've done a great job with designing and creating the packaging and I am very satisfied!


The backside of the packaging - as well very nice made. Shiny and elegant but nevertheless smart and brilliant!
The writing pen is good to write with and it's practical to have around whenever you need it.





Pros

  • It has a nice size and can fit in almost any pocket. It's smaller then the normal ballpoint pens, but this is no average pen, it a 2 in 1 stylus pen. Even though the size is smaller, it doesn't matter at all!
  • The packaging is awesome to look at, a great color choice and very nice with a transparent look!
  • A nice silver color, a clip to attach the pen to a sweater and other various clothing and a 3.55mm headphone jack attachment for portability!
  • Compatible with all Apple iDevices and many other touch screen mobile phones, devices and other apparatuses! 
  • A great alternative for those who want to draw cartoons and pictures on many of the iPad, iPod and iPhone drawing applications. It's also possible to use the iPod, iPhone or iPad together with the stylus pen as a drawing tablet.
  • Included a good quality writing pen with black ink. Great to have around when you suddenly can make use of one, while using your Apple iDevice.


Cons

  • An OK price, but I wouldn't mind it to be slightly cheaper, cause just recently I found a page that sold an almost exact stylus pen, only without the writing pen for 2.57 US dollars. 
  • Sometimes when using the pen and the iDevice as an drawing tablet, it can become imprecise to draw and sketch, the smaller details. 
  • It is sometimes needed to press the pen harder onto the touch screen then expected. It isn't like a human finger where you just slightly touch the screen and it responds. That's why a finger is much better then using stylus pens! Using the pen can however be much more accurate when drawing inside apps, surfing in safari and doing detailed tasks on the Apple Device.


This is how the soft rubber, that is "touch screen sensitive", looks like. For those wanting to know the size of this, it's about the half size of the iPod Touch home button.


Works with iPad, iPhone, iPod and many more. "Write", "Draw", and "Navigate".
Exactly as it says, you can navigate in Safari, Write in drawing apps and draw in drawing applications. 



Total Conclusion

TheSnugg Silver 2 in 1 stylus pen is almost perfectly made and with very few dislikes from me. It's an alright price, and for those with an iPad or an iPad 2 this is a "must"! It simplifies drawing, writing, surfing in safari and many other things. Using this with an iPod or an iPhone on the other hand can be discussed. The iPod and iPhone screen is small enough already so having a pen to cover some space of the screen is frustrating. It's in handy to have one around for the iPad owners, but using this with an iPod or iPhone wouldn't be so practical.
As a finishing conclusion! For all iPad owners I recommend this fully and completely, but for the iPod and iPhone owners I don't think that you would have had that much of practical use. That is still your decision to make!

3.5mm AV Adapter for All iPod/iPhone 2G/3G (White)

A few weeks ago I thought that I had ruined the iPod Touch mini jack connection. I was afraid that I couldn't listen to music on my iPod Touch anymore, and that's what iPods are for, listening to music. I heard about this accessory and I was very happy to be able listen to music again. Luckily I found out that there were only a good amount of dust stuck inside the headphones jack, and I was able to remove it. The nice thing about this is that I now have a Plan B if it happens that I ruin the iPod mini jack for real. Even though I found out that they weren't broken, I got to use them for about a one week. It's cheap, easy to carry around, solid and nice built.  


The size of the AV Adapter is about the size of two average thumbs. It's white and compact. Well made and has a solid build! 





























On the edges of the adapter there are two button to press when connecting it to the iDevice. It isn't necessary to actually press them, cause you can  easily just push it right into the connection hole. It's also nice that they included a little sign to show which side your supposed to use when connecting it to an iDevice.





























This is the button you'r supposed to press when wanting to connect the iDevice. By pressing them you can avoid getting scratches around the connection point, but I myself don't use it. At least very rarely.































Pros

  • Nice color choice, nicely made and has a solid build. It can withstand lots of use!
  • Small and compact. Easy to carry around and compatible with almost all of the Apple iDevices. Can also be used to play music trough speakers by connecting them with an AUX cable. I assume that it's also possible to transmit video to a television with an composite to mini jack cable.
  • Cheap and easy to use, also provides other opportunities then what it says on the product page.
  • Can fit anywhere. In the pocket, a backpack, a bag, a purse, a jacket and big wallets. 
  • Handy that they included a sign to show which side to use when connecting the iPod, iPhone or iPad to this adapter. 



Cons

  • To be able to use it to transmit video signals to a TV, then some extra software is needed. 
  • In the hole where you connect the earphones to the adapter, sometimes the connection is somehow weak. So only audio signal goes to the left earphone, while the right side remains silent, and visa versa. 
  • No volume control so each time you connect it, you should careful to not listen to loud songs cause they will be on maximum volume when you use them then. I recommend getting headphones with volume control or music playing applications with volume control.
  •  It can be frustrating to have an extension of the iPod when it's in your pocket. I'm often worried that it will brake in half when I walk. So I always have it in a jacket pocket.
  • The mini jack connection on the adapter could have been shorter. Cause it feels like it's going to break at any time when having it in your pocket.


When connected to an iPod Touch, this is how it looks like. As you can see, the extension of the iPod can be frustrating. If that's the price to pay to be able to play music, then I don't mind the extension at all.

























If the earphones also are connected, then it looks like this. Sometimes you have to twist the earphones mini jack around to get the perfect audio signal. If not, then one of the earphones will not work!





























Mini jack is of no bad quality. It can stand much use and there is no problem or need to be afraid of braking it when connecting an earphone.





























When first time connecting the adapter to the iDevice it can feel different than the original iPod Touch cable. Mainly because it's antoher producer and it doesn't slide right in like the Apple ones does. Fortunately this is no problem, just a notice!































Total Conclusion


This adapter is perfect to everyone who is devastated by not being able to listen to music anymore. This is an awesome solution and 3.51 US dollars to pay for such a great solution, is nothing! It's cheap, compact, easy to use, very compatible with almost all Apple devices, easy to carry around and a great accessory for fixing mini jack problems. I recommend this product, not  necessarily to those with mini jack problems, but having this as a Plan B and as a great handy product! The only thing they could have changed is shortening the length of the adapter.

TheSnugg.com was so kind to send me the "Snugg Power 2Ah Fast Portable Charger" so I could make a review of it, and I must say I'm impressed. While I was opening the package, the first thing that crossed my mind was, "what an awesome packaging!".
It's very in handy to carry around because it's very lightweight and small, but still can pack a got amount of power!


The front side of the packaging is very elegant, attractive and shiny! The package includes a 60cm USB to MicroUSB cable, but I think they also should have included an iPod Touch USB cable. It would have made the price of the product more reasonable.


The backside of the packaging is also very shiny! The package looks great! It says it's compatible with iPods, iPhones, iPads, Blackberrys and almost all devices with a USB connection. I have myself tried this out on an iPod Touch 4g and a Nokia N900.


A closer look of the charger's on/off button. Very small, and just the perfect size. Any bigger and it would have taken too much space, any smaller and it would have been wierd, and it may have been diffucult to press the button.


The bottom part of the charger. A nice shape and Eco friendly power! 2 Ampere per hour!




Pros

  • A solid and well made product, while still having the great shining look that makes people even more interested.
  • The charger can supply your iDevice, Mobile Phone or any other device with USB connection, with plenty of power. 
  • Even though the packaging says that it can charge you iPhone 1.5 time. I was able to charge my iPod Touch almost 3 times, where I started from 0% battery each time.
  • It's very small, compact, lightweight and easy to carry around. It also fits perfectly in your hand.
  • The design of this product has almost no errors at all. It is shiny, elegant, beautiful and great to look at! 
  • Is compatible with many devices. Camcorders with USB connection, Nokia's, Samsung's and Apple Devices.
  • It has a included USB to MicroUSB cable so you don't have to think of purchasing this.
  • Small, perfect sized button for powering on and off the portable charger.
  • Four small blue light that indicate how much power is left on compact charger. Nice to know how much's left, very handy that they installed these LED's.
  • A red LED that shows when the portable charger is charging itself and when it's not.
  • Fast charging time and Eco friendly power! 


Cons

  • The price of the charger is maybe an acceptable prize to pay in Europa countries, such as Norway, Denmark, United Kingdom, Finland, France and countries with a currency above average value. Unfortunately for those countries with a less lower currency value, like Serbia, Indonesia, China, Japan, Mexico and Spain will hesitate much more when wanting to buy this. For example, an average Serbian retired man or women will have to pay almost 10% of their monthly salary. This is around 1800 Serbian dinars, and a retired person in Serbia gets around 15000 dinars a month. 
  • The color of the text and the number on the front side of the charger is a bad choice. By choosing red and printing in on a black background makes it hard to notice. I assume that they used the red color because "TheSnugg" logo is red. If they absolutely have to use a red color on the front side of the chargers then they could make the red color more lighter. Much more noticeable and highlights the companies logo a lot more.
  • Including an iPhone charging cable would have made the price slightly more reasonable for the countries with low currency value and for other countries as well.


It says 1.5 x Fully Charged iPhone, but it's very imprecise, cause it can easily charge your iDevice at least half a time more! I don't know this about the iPad, cause it needs a bigger supply of power. 


The complete charger after a week of use. Not many scratches or damages. It can stand some harsh use and it isn't fragile. An average sized finger is about the same size of this charger.


Just like this one, an USB to MicroUSB will be included in the package that arrived at you. By the way, this cable can be used to charge the Nokia N900 also.



Four blue lights will appear from right to left on this exact picture. While on the last light on the left side of this picture will be red when charging. 


Through this MicroUSB connection you will be charging the portable charger when needed.






Total Conclusion

This version of TheSnugg's available portable chargers is of surprisingly good quality. It charges at "lighting speed", and the design is to be boasted. Even though the prize of the charger is not far away from becoming expensive, you get what you pay for. You will not regret when buying this. It's a very handy accessory for iPod Touch Enthusiastic's, travelers and people who just want to watch movies on the iPad at night. A practical accessory for everybody with an iDevice.
This is a product that I recommend completely to everyone and an accessory that is worth buying without considering the prize.
