In-Ear Stereo Earbuds (3.5mm Metallic Orange)

These earphones are one of the most bought things on DealExtreme and their very good. Being aware of these earphones costing 2.85$, while the Apple earphone cost 10-15$ makes this a very good offer! Not to mention that these are not much worse then the Apple earphones.
Sadly, it's to good to be true.
The earbuds has a couple of things that I'm very dissatisfied with! I will of course mention both aspects, and write some constructive criticism and how to improve.
The design and the look of the earphones are very impressing. One of the reason why I bought them in the first place was because they were so cool. The orange and silver color really draws attention and tempts me to buy them.
This is the right earphone! Look at how the nice the orange and the silver color makes them stand out and how great they look!

My first thoughts when getting this was the cool package. I heard some people saying they didn't like the plastic bag they got it in. But to be honest, I really liked it.

Here is at least a picture of the complete product when it arrives. As you can see, some extra foam sleeves will be included. I haven't tried the pink ones, but the blue ones are alright. There is no change in the felling of wearing them. It is only difficult to put the foam sleeves onto the nozzle.
Two pairs of extra foam sleeves will be included. If you lose the ones already attached to the earphones, you can replace them with these. They are identically the same. I guess it's "One Size Fits All"!
Here is a more closer photo of the foam sleeves. Maybe it seems like the pink one is bigger then the blue one, but that's only because of the angle the picture was taken. Their actually completely the same.

Pros
- It's extremely cheap, and when comparing the Apple ones to these. These win superiorly! First of all because the sound quality differs very little! The Apple earphones cable is slightly longer, and the only reason I can think of the Apple ones being more expensive is since the brand is more know, maybe the parts are better quality or the earphones are made to last longer.
- The earphones play good sound, and especially with songs that have much bass.
- Very good design with an awesome look and perfect color choice! Very nice aesthetic appearance overall!
- Soundproof. Good for listening to music while walking next to cars and walking to the town or to places with much noise.
- The packaging that it arrives in, is very cool!
Cons
- Those songs with little bass and more melodically rhythms like, The Killers - Human, Coldplay - Christmas Lights and MIKA - Grace Kelly. Such songs will lose some of the sound. But if you increase the volume, it can be solved. But to high volume will be unpleasant to listen to. With other words, the sound is somehow not crystal clear. The felling is like there something trapped between the earphones and your ear.
- The cable is short, so people with very long jackets who want to have their earphones under the jacket while they listen to music, will no be able to do so.
- The left earphone cable is shorter then the right earphone cable. The thing that happens then, is that the right-side cable sticks out while the left-side remains under your jacket. This looks complete awkward when you walk. Both of the earphone cables should have been equally long. It's simply much more practical!
- The earphones strain relief should absolutely not have been made of hard plastic. It's not such a big thing, but you can notice how it rubs against your ear. You can feel it, and it isn't very noticeable when in use, but I can't understand why they couldn't have used silicon or something softer. Much more enjoyable to use them then.
- If used when running, jumping, climbing and activities with fast moves. Where much movement is needed, then these earphones isn't a good alternative! If you for instance bend to pick something up, then they will most likely fall out. But sometimes they just remain.
- Cable is too stiff and it should be more flexible. Cause it can't shape itself to the surroundings. If you place it in a straight line on a table, it will bend upwards or downwards.
If you notice how the the earphones cable length is different. I don't understand why they did this. Very unnecessary, and they should have stuck with having both sides equally long.
This is the 3.5mm mini-jack or stereo mini-plug. Very nice with a silver color and a orange colored mini-jack.
Here is a image of the Y-Connection and the white "thing", that I though was a sliding ring. If they one day extend the cable length to the earphones, then they should add a sliding ring that can slide back and forth.

Total Conclusion
The earphones is a very good offer if you like listening to music with a lot of bass. If you like Techno, Trance and Dance for example, then these are recommended.
These earbuds are very soundproof so their good for listening to music close to cars, work van facilities and places with much noise.
I wouldn't recommend these earphones to people who like to listen to music with much weak tones. Such as Beethoven and The Killers. Beethoven would have been very difficult to listen to, because it's classical music.
If you like listening to music while going to bed, sitting on the sofa or just chilling in your room, then these are great for you!
On the other side, if you like to listen to music during workouts and jogging, then you should try to find others that has a better grip inside your ear or just headphones!
Overall, these are good and very cheap earphones that are well made and with a great design. People who like to relax on the sofa and listen to music should buy these. Recommended by me. If you are not to harsh with these particular earbuds then they will last for a good time!
